About Berea House
Berea House was founded in 2007 by Eric Normington as a help-centre for evangelical Christians in the
UK who would like to see their book in print, but who were finding that the publishing industry was not
accessible to them, and that the services of other self-publishing organisations is not flexible or
comprehensive enough for them.
Berea House is not indiscriminate in regards to the type of work it will produce… we make a value
decision about any book before we will undertake to work with it. We do not necessarily require that we agree
with everything you write, but we do want to be sure that anything that becomes associated with us be in
line with our evangelical purpose. This is quite clearly aligned with the first Berean church…
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message
with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. (Acts 17:11)
We do not restrict ourselves to fiction or non-fiction, or to genre. All projects will be considered
on their own individual merit. The one restriction we do make is that any material of a salacious or
offensive nature will be instantly rejected.
A range of services is available, from just printing
the book, through to a comprehensive edit/proof read/cover design/print service. How much of this service
you make use of is entirely your choice.
Please browse around our catalogue, to see what we have
done in the past. We trust that you will be impressed with the quality and value of our services.
