Scottish Holiday - Shadow the Hedgehog
The third in a series of pictures I did during our holiday in Scotland.
I had this idea to do a few fan pictures based on some of the places we went to, showing the Sonic characters in a photograph that would suit their various personalities.
Anyway, one of the places we went to was the Museum of Transport in Glasgow and, with this picture in mind, I went to have a look at the old motorbikes. This particular model really caught my eye, because it was a genuine ‘Harley Davidson’... the make on which I based my character Danbuster’s Hareleigh Davidson!
Shadow, of course, just couldn’t resist trying it for size, even though we are clearly told ‘Do not touch!’... but then Shaddie’s a law unto himself!
I took the base photograph personally, knowing basically what I wanted. Still, it was a challenge in the confined area to get a good shot of the motorbike with the glass panel in front (the photo was taken at an angle and in straightening it out required a little touching up) and even more of a challenge to fit Shadow in convincingly...
