This picture was mainly intended as an entry for a contest given by Mobian Ministries, Christian club for Sonic fans on
deviantART, of which I am a member.
This is based more on symbolism than actual ‘real’ situation from the Sonic universe, I guess. This was inspired by an illustration from a modern-translation book I have of The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan, with Shadow the Hedgehog taking the place of the character of Christian.
