It’s Nessie!
This was a picture idea I had soon after starting at my Drawing and Painting evening class.
I wanted to do a landscape picture, depicting my favourite legend in her natural habitat.
Taken from a downloaded photograph of Loch Ness... but I added Nessie to make it interesting.
And it seems she's a little surprised at being caught out in the open like this...
Coloured with pastels. This is the first time I've used my pastels in a long time and it seems it worked out pretty well.
