Watercolour Eagle
I’d been hoping to get a chance to try out watercolour painting for a while, since I’d had these old tubes of paint and a set of brushes that I’d never used before.
Well, I’d recently got a pad with thick paper suitable for watercolour for Christmas, along with some other stuff that would be useful.
One time when I was downtown, I found a book about birds of prey in a local bargain bookshop, which I took an interest in - and I found this photo of a golden eagle that I just had to paint. So it became my subject.
